This did traumatise me somewhat but I was far to lazy to negotiate the traffic back to work when I was already halfway home. Instead I contented myself with the latest copy of Public Eye. There was a great book review of "Flat Earth News" the latest offering of Nick Davies. I found the article very interesting as I work in the newspaper industry and am fascinated by the corruption that goes on in order to get the story before the competition snaps it up. It's published next month and I'll be sure to buy it. That is if I can smuggle yet another book through the door and past my husband. He will inevitable be the one who has to hoist that and many other books up into the loft because I can't stand to part with them!<br /><br /><br /><br />I'm currently reading <strong>Theft: a love story</strong> by Peter Carey. This is the first novel of Carey's that I have come across and I am thoroughly enjoying it so far.
